What Is The Best Beer in Montana? Can’t Be This

There are so many fantastic beers across the state of Montana this would be a difficult task but apparently there is a beer that is the best and to be honest I don't agree with the choice and a lot of folks would agree.

Stacker came out with a list of the Best Beers in Every State and the one for chose for Montana is something that isn't even in my Top 10, not even in my Top 20, actually it's not even on my list of top beers for Montana.

Stacker says the best beer in Montana is the Ivan the Terrible Imperial Stout from Big Sky Brewing Company in Missoula. The reason behind this choice is due to the fact this beer has high alcohol, great score and it's also barrel-aged. Those are all good points but the problem is I would have to disagree.

If you want to talk about the best beer in Montana you have to point to several contenders. First off you have Kettlehouse Brewing Company's Cold Smoke, one of the most in demand beers in the Pacific Northwest. Then you could go with MAP Brewing's Midas Crush IPA. That is always a crowd pleaser and one of the best IPA's in Montana. Then finally you could easily go with either Madison River Brewing's Salmon Fly or Great Northern Brewing's Good Medicine.

These are all fantastic beers and that's not even mentioning some of the underrated breweries who haven't canned their best beers yet. There are too many great beers to choose from. Which one is your favorite?
