I love the tiny homes-type shows and seeing how much they can do with just a little space. That’s just one reason I love the idea of tiny homes to help solve the homeless problem. If you feel the same way, you can help!

The HRDC is working on a second tiny home build project the next three weekends: July 22-23, July 29-30, and August 5-6. If you have any construction experience (architect, engineer, carpenter, etc.), that is especially helpful, but anyone can join in to help the cause.

They ask that you bring any tools that you have, such as a table saw, chop saw, electric drills with bit sets, socket sets, levels, 2-3 air compressors with hose, and nail gun. The HRDC will also be providing lunch, snacks, and drinks for all of the hard workers.

Sign up to be a part of the build team: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/tinyhomebuild

If you can’t participate but want to help, you can loan tools or make a monetary donation.
