The Gallatin Valley's first ever Variety Show is going down tonight at the Emerson Cultural Center Theater.  Tickets are available now at Cactus Records and also online. The brainchild of Missy O'Malley, this event serves two purposes. 1: It's Missy's birthday party! She is turning 30 and decided to celebrate in the only way Missy would...by helping a great cause! That leads to purpose 2: A benefit for the Gallatin Valley YMCA.  Wondering what this whole thing is all about?  Here are the details.

A variety show is one big show consisting of a bunch of smaller shows. Although I'm not privy to the entire line-up I've heard we can expect break dancing, a jazz band, aerial acrobatics and a magic show.  Doors open at 5:30pm with the show starting, in the Emerson Theater, at 6:30pm. Also I should note that this is a participatory event with the dress attire for the evening being WHITE with a SPLASH of BRIGHT.  The dress attire is not required but why not! My suggestion would be to get there early and get a good seat!

There is an after party! Why wouldn't there be?! The after party is right next door to the Emerson Theater in the Emerson Ballroom.  A separate ticket is required, but you can get a combo pack with both tickets included. Live music, dancing, drinks will all be had to celebrate Missy's 30th and the close of the first ever Variety Show!

All proceeds go the Gallatin Valley YMCA.  The Y here in Bozeman does not have a building, so you may not have even known that they exist here. But they do. And they have a ton of awesome programs. You can learn about all of them here.
