The ski season has officially arrived in Montana.

Two ski areas have announced that they will open up the slopes to the public this weekend.

Discovery Ski Area and Great Divide will both be up and running Saturday, November 10.

Discovery says that all front side lifts will be operating this weekend.

A message fro Great Divide says, "The Good Luck to Broadway trail is about 3,000 feet long, 100 feet wide, with 615 feet of vertical.
We’ll have a PocketPark with half-dozen fun boxes and rails alongside the trail too."

"The Good Luck Lift will operate Saturday, November 10, from just after daylight (Isn’t a little friendly competition cool?) closing at 4 p.m.
Sunday, November 11, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m."

This is the earliest Great Divide has ever opened to start a ski season.
