Two Montana Olympians Will Be Competing Tomorrow
With the 2018 Winter Olympics in full swing and all of us cheering the United States on in every event you wonder if any the athletes that are competing are from our great state of Montana.
Well, I have great news because two of the three Montana athletes competing in the Winter Olympics are actually competing Friday, February 16th on NBC. Maggie Voisin of Whitefish and Darian Stevens of Missoula will both be competing in the Women's Freestyle Skiing Slopestyle tomorrow. This event where skiers will be doing tricks off of rails, jumps and other obstacles for points.
This will be pretty exciting especially because Maggie Voison just won a gold medal at the X Games just recently. The qualification runs start at 6 pm and then if they both make it to the finals those will be on later Friday evening around 9 p.m.
We wish you the best of luck and hope you both bring back medals!
