Toyota Drivers of Montana: Read This Immediately
Everyone wants their vehicle to run smoothly daily, but if you have these Toyota models, you might want them to get checked out.
Whether you have an old classic, a new whip, or a car that gets you where you need to go, we all appreciate our vehicles. We never want our cars, trucks, or SUVs to malfunction or stop working suddenly. That could cause serious problems.
We have seen recalls of all types of vehicles from different manufacturers for potential problems. Everything from brakes to electronic problems and more have been issues.
We have a new one.
USA Today reports Toyota is recalling over 50,000 vehicles and has issued a Do Not Drive advisory.
What's happening? Toyota needs owners of the 2003-2004 Camry, 2004-2005 Rav4, and 2003-2004 Corolla Matrix to take their cars in immediately.
Why? The Takata airbags in these vehicles are under an URGENT airbag safety recall. If you don't get these airbags replaced, there is a solid chance they could go off randomly and shoot sharp fragments that can cause catastrophic damage to the driver or passengers of the vehicles listed.
Will this cost the owner of these vehicles money?
Toyota says to take your vehicle to your local dealer, and they should have several options for replacement airbags for free. You won't have to pay a dime. The company will take care of it for you.
Toyota is one of the most owned vehicles in Montana. Toyota vehicles last forever and are reliable. If you own any of these models, you should get it checked out immediately.
No one wants to get injured by a life-saving measure in your car.
