If you have 1 hour a week to spare, you could be helping to mentor a youngster in the Bozeman School District.  CAP [Child Advancement Project] still needs 80 mentors for this school year so they are having a get together tonight from 6 to 8pm at the 406 Brewery.  This is a great chance for you to meet some other mentors, such as myself, and get some information on how you can help a Bozeman youth.

This really is a great way to help your community if you are low on time.  Mentors meet their CAP matches at the school the youngster attends for 1 hour a week.  That's it.  No driving around or coming up with activities outside of school.

I am a CAP mentor right now and I was matched with a youth for several years before my match moved away. I can personally say that it is something that you will never forget.  Every week I look forward to meeting with my match.  It's always fun for both of us and I learn as much from him as he does from me.  It's a great thing for Bozeman and it will show you something about yourself that you didn't know before.

So come to the 406 Brewery at 101 East Oak, Suite D [across Oak from the Fairgrounds] starting at 6, have a beer, meet some great people, and get some information on CAP.
