This is the Most Iconic Restaurant in Montana

According to the website Thrillist.com, the Union Grille Restaurant at the Grand Union Hotel in Fort Benton is Montana's most iconic restaurant. The Grand Union Hotel is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It was built in 1882, seven years before Montana officially became a state.

Fort Benton is about 3.5 hours north of Bozeman. The Union Grille Restaurant is on the ground floor overlooking the Missouri River. The Union Grille is open in the summer (June through August) for evening dining. They are closed Tuesdays. During the fall, winter and spring (September through May), they are open from 5 - 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
