This is going to be a hot ticket event to go to over the next few months and you don't want to miss out on these awesome games.

This past Saturday, October 16th, the Montana State Hockey team faced off in the Brawl of the Wild against the University of Montana Grizzlies at the Ressler Ice Rink, and to say this was a can't miss event is an understatement.

Even though Ressler Ice Rink isn't fully finished, that didn't stop the Bobcat faithful to show up and they showed up. Usually, attendance for games is around 300-400 people but over 1,200 people were cheering on the Bobcats and making the Grizzlies understand what Bobcat Pride is all about.

Fans were literally three to four people deep around the rink and the bleachers were full with folks screaming, "Go Cats Go!". The craziest part is that they had to turn away over 500 people from the rink because there wasn't enough security and not enough space for everyone.

The icing on the cake was Montana State blowing out the Grizzlies 7-2. It was beautiful to watch.

So just a heads up, the next Brawl of the Wild game between Montana State Bobcats and the University of Montana Grizzlies won't be until January 2022 but make sure you show up just a little bit early to not only get a seat in the bleachers or a spot around the rink but just to get in and watch the Bobcats crush the Griz in another sport.
