19-year-old Michael Pfertsch, a Twin Bridges High School student, was killed early Sunday morning in a car accident.  Michael was riding in a truck bed after a bonfire, when the truck veered off the road and rolled.  Two males and two females were in the front of the single-cab truck, and sustained non-life threatening injuries...

Very sad news to report this afternoon - a 44-year-old Bozeman woman is dead after a car accident on Cottonwood and Stucky this morning. Her 7-year-old child was severely injured and is at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

Let this video of a motorcyclist crashing at top speed into a passing truck be a lesson to all drivers: Motorcycles are dangerous, riders should always wear a helmet and Ryan Gosling probably won’t be around to smooth things over when the two drivers meet. Despite the severity of the crash (which shatters the motorcycle in question), its rider miraculously gets up and walks it off.

A Georgia man was aware that his pickup truck had no functional brakes when he took it for  a drive Wednesday afternoon. But the 24-year-old was under the mistaken — and likely Saturday morning cartoon-influenced — impression he could just stop the vehicle by sticking his foot out the door and dragging it across the pavement, Fred Flinstone-style.
