As technology continues to overtake our life, so does online bullying. It is a problem here in Montana, but where do we rank compared to other states?

Caine Smith is an 11 year old living in Haltom City, Texas. Like many other kids across the country, Caine struggles with relentless bullying from his classmates on a daily basis. He is a normal kid; he plays video games, he has long hair and he has two moms.

Amber Hatch refuses to be bullied when it comes to her efforts to stop bullying.

Kevin Curwick is a senior at Osseo High School in Osseo, MN. He’s also the captain of the school’s football team — which makes him an unlikely candidate for cyberbullying.

In late 2010, Rutgers University student Dharun Ravi broadcast live webcam footage of his male roommate, Tyler Clementi, kissing another man. Days later, Clementi committed suicide — and now Ravi’s been found guilty in a criminal court case connected to the incident.

Beliebers know that their hero Justin Bieber cares about his fellow humans. He donates buckets of money to a variety of causes (Pencils of Promise is the most prominent, as well as his hometown food bank in Canada) and visits sick kids in the hospital. He’s certainly doing his part. That doesn’t mean that the Bieber backlash from the haters will ever stop.
