Is Snoop Dogg Going to Star in His Own Sitcom?
As a young Dr. Dre protege, Snoop Doggy Dogg only had his mind on his money and his money on his mind. The idea that he’d one day be making cameos on ‘One Life to Live’ or starring in a reality series about his family would have seemed ludicrous.
The older, wiser Snoop Dogg knows how to step back from the game and have fun, however — and now he’s developing a family-friendly sitcom to prove it.
Snoop, who has also guested on series such as ‘Monk’ and ‘The L Word,’ would star as the father of a family on the show, which currently lacks a title or any other announced cast members. He’s developing the show with producer Don Reo, whose previous credits include ‘My Wife and Kids’ and ‘Two and a Half Men.’
Dogg’s latest album, ‘Doggumentary,’ went top 10 earlier this year. He also recently signed to star in a biopic about noted pimp and blues musician Fillmore Slim.
