You can see how your shopping can truly make a difference in a small community and it's pretty cool.

It's November and that means a lot of businesses from big to small are getting ready for their biggest sales event of the year's with Black Friday and Small Business Saturday and people are excited. The thing is, I am more of a fan of Small Business Saturday than Black Friday and here in Montana, that day means a lot more.

Small Business Saturday this year will be November 27th and the Gallatin Valley will have plenty of places for you to go out and help support local businesses. We aren't only talking about Downtown Bozeman either. Listen, I love going Christmas/personal shopping in Downtown Bozeman for Small Business Saturday but there are a lot of spots to also check out as well.

If you are into music, Cactus Records and the Wax Museum are great places to find vinyl records of all varieties. Want fun or great apparel? There is Intrigue Ink, Revolvr Menswear, and Universal Athletic. Then if you need boots or running shoes there are Carter's Boots, Schnee's, and the Bozeman Running Company. We know we are forgetting some other great spots too.

The best part is that the money you spend at these places stays here not only in Montana but locally too. This helps support the owners, employees, and more. Plus, I feel like you can get better creative gifts for your loved ones at Small Business Saturday. That's just my opinion though.
