Say Cheese! Where Does Montana Rank When It Comes To Selfies?
Ah, the selfie. Of course, a couple of decades back if you would have told folks that we'd all be obsessed with taking pictures of ourselves and posting them online, most folks would have thought you were ridiculous.
Let's just say the times have changed.
In fact, nowadays, did you really even go on vacation if you didn't post pictures of everything you ate, drank, and wore on your Instagram? The truth is, we as a country seem to be pretty taken back with the "selfie", but what about here in Montana? Where does Montana rank when it comes to taking selfies?
It seems that we Montanans aren't nearly as into selfies as the rest of the United States. In fact, according to attsavings.com, we rank near the bottom when it comes to taking pictures of ourselves. Oh, and it's not just Montana—our neighbors to the east aren't really big on the whole selfie thing, either.
So how far down do we rank? According to the website, Montana comes in at 45th out of 50. We're followed by South Dakota at 46th, and our next-door neighbor North Dakota comes in at 49th.
Now keep in mind that just because Montanans don't take a lot of selfies, doesn't mean that there are not a whole lot of selfies being taken here in Montana. With millions of tourists coming to Montana each year, our state is certainly a very popular backdrop when it comes to selfies.
