Remains Found Confirmed To Be That Of Missing Bozeman Man

45-year-old John Flanigan from Bozeman was last seen by his family on August 13th.  His vehicle was found abandoned on August 20th in Butte. Authorities have now confirmed that his remains have been found. Search dogs recovered them approximately half a mile northwest of the Herman Gulch Trailhead at the end of Roosevelt Drive in Butte.

The investigation into his death continues.  We will keep his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers.
