There's nothing better than seeing a movie on the big screen.

Montanans love going to the movies. We have a few movie theater chains like AMC, Cinemark, and Regal, but mostly have locally owned theaters across the state that their community loves.

Every movie theater has its atmosphere, unique concessions, and prices.

There has been a surge in the popularity of folks returning to the movie theaters to watch new films. Many movie theaters offer date night deals, discounted days, or other offers to entice locals to see what's showing.

Most new films will start showing late Thursday or early Friday, but what if you could watch some new films days or weeks before they came out?

Regal's Mystery Movie Monday

It's risky, but worth it.

Montana is home to one Regal Cinemas. It's in Bozeman.

Regal Cinemas has several unique promotions for customers. They have their Regal Unlimited, for $18 a month, you can see any movie any time, and they have Family Days, where you can watch family-friendly films during the day for a discount.

One offer can slip under the radar, and it's worth checking out at least once.

We are talking about Mystery Movie Mondays.

Regal Cinemas has Mystery Movie Mondays every two weeks. They show an upcoming movie days or weeks before its release to help promote or create buzz for the film.

For only $5, you can see an upcoming film, but you won't know which one until it starts.

It can be a risky move.

Some of the films can be amazing, and others can be atrocious.

I went to the one this past Monday and saw Fight or Flight with Josh Hartnett.

I would describe the movie as an unhinged John Wick on a plane, and it was fantastic. It was simple, but an absolute good time for everyone in the movie theater.
