Puppies Found Abandoned in Wheelbarrow at Montana Dump
Rez Dog Rescue of Montana took a call from a man on Monday who found 9 puppies abandoned at a dump near Hardin, Mont.
According to the rescue group, the dogs were left at the dump to fend for themselves without their mother anywhere in sight.
Rebecca Shirley of Help Every Pet of Hardin then received a call from a person who found two more dogs from the litter at the dump. She acted quickly once she was made aware of the situation and picked up the remaining two, reuniting them with their brothers and sisters.
The puppies are now being cared for in a foster home and will be available for adoption in about a month if everything goes according to plan.
Stray dogs are common in that area of the state and Shirley told us "unfortunately, it's not the first time and won't be the last."
If interested in adopting one of these dogs, people are encouraged to contact Help Every Pet Hardin to find out more information.
