Paid Parking in Downtown Bozeman? It’s a Possibility
We might have to say goodbye to free parking soon downtown.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle is reporting that city officials are considering paid parking zones and permits on Main Street and surrounding streets.
They are thinking that many folks who live near downtown aren't able to find parking spots near their house because they are being used up by people who want to use the free parking on streets that are just a few blocks off of Main Street.
Nothing seems immediate right now but permits seem like it might be in the future.
Who knows? They might even add parking meters on Main Street soon too. They already have in Missoula.
