With the brand new year of 2022 upon us and coming up in a couple of days, many of us are making plans for New Year's Eve. The thing is, I am making sure I will not be going out on Saturday because I have a feeling it's going to be a nightmare.

This is the first year in a long time where New Year's Eve falls on a Friday, and people are going to be out in full force making sure to end 2021 on a fun note. With people going hard on Friday evening that means one thing, they will need to recuperate the next day, and that usually entails everyone's favorite weekend activity: brunch.

Weekend brunch is a huge event in Bozeman. Whether folks head downtown or try to hit up another fantastic breakfast joint in the area, everywhere is going to be busy. Places like The Western CafeJam, and Stormcastle will be the first places people go. Then there is Cat Eye CafeMain Street Overeasy, and Nova Cafe will be packed too.

So what should you do? Well, you can try to battle the crowds. I highly recommend you try to get to one of the many great breakfast spots before 10 AM because you might not have to deal with a long wait time. The other option you could try is to venture to a spot that is usually open for lunch and hope they offer some brunch options.

Places like Rocking R Bar, Pour House, and the Cat's Paw are the perfect spots if you don't want to try and deal with the crowds. We will see how Friday goes, but I might stay in and wait till Sunday.
