New Music Festival Coming to Missoula

It's about time we see another festival here.

Missoula will have a new music festival in 2025, and everyone is excited.

The Zootown Festival will happen at the Missoula Fairgrounds on July 4th and 5th in 2025 and put on by Knitting Factory Presents.

Who will be playing in this festival?

No one knows for sure, but one of their Instagram posts has a Modest Mouse song, so that might be a clue.

Could this be an alternative or indie rock festival? Probably.

Knitting Factory used to have a music festival at the Big Sky Brewing Company called Traveler's Rest for two years.

Alternative bands like Death Cab For Cutie, Sylvan Esso, and more performed at that festival.

Missoula is the perfect place to host a festival with those bands.

Other than the dates, where it will be located, and who's hosting, we don't know much.

We are eight months away from the festival, but we feel this festival will want to announce its acts before the other Montana festivals.
