New Hotel To Open In Bozeman
Hotels make a lot of money in Bozeman every year. With year-round tourism, it's just a given.
If you have driven on Baxter Lane recently, you might have noticed that something new is under construction behind the Springhill Suites by Marriott. We did some investigating and learned a new hotel will be occupying that space. It's none other than another Marriott Hotel.

If you don't know, Marriott Hotels have been taking over the Bozeman area. This Courtyard by Marriott, when finished, will be the sixth Marriott hotel in Bozeman.
Marriott Hotels currently have two Residence Inns, The AC Hotel, The Element, and the Springhill Suites. Marriott Hotels are known for clean, upscale rooms and many pleasing amenities, from bars to food to rooftop views.
The real question we have to ask is: does Bozeman need another hotel? We already have quite a few hotels, and they bring in a lot of money, but do we need another one? Plus, we have to wonder if they'll be able to find enough staff to handle the customers, as so many places are already struggle with the increasing tourist numbers.
I do hope this Marriott is more affordable than the other hotels in the Bozeman area. Marriott Hotels in Bozeman average between $350 to $600 per night, and that's not affordable to regular folks. It would be nice to have a budget-friendly option.
These are all questions that we hope to get answers to before the opening. The hotel probably won't open till early 2023, and who knows—many of the issues that current businesses in the Bozeman area struggle with might be resolved by then. Only time will tell.
