Could This New Canadian Airline Open Shop in Montana?
If you want to make a splash with your new airline, why not have a destination to America's oldest national park?
The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport has been booming over the past few years. Year after year, the Bozeman Airport breaks passenger records, and no airport in Montana comes close. Massive airlines such as Southwest and JetBlue entered the Montana market for the first time because of the popularity of the Bozeman Airport, and people have loved it.
The one thing that has been a problem for me is that it's called the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, but there aren't any international flights. That might change soon with this airline.
A new Canadian airline has been gaining popularity over the past few years in Canada called Flair Airlines. Flair Airlines is essentially like Southwest Airlines of Canada. They offer low-cost fares to attractive destinations all over Canada. Only recently have they started to have flights come to America.
Flair Airlines has been expanding rapidly with flights and have announced new destinations for this winter. While this announcement doesn't include any Montana airports, I can't but wonder if Bozeman is on their radar. Flair Airlines has flights that would be a hit with locals. If we could add a flight to some of Canada's biggest cities like Calgary, Toronto, or Vancouver, I could see it being a success. Plus, Canadians love Montana and want to explore the great outdoors.
If there is a type of flight popular with folks, it's low-cost flights to attractive destinations. Allegiant, Southwest, and JetBlue are popular with cheap flights to Las Vegas, Denver, Nashville, and New York. Who wouldn't want a lovely international flight to enjoy from time to time?
It would make the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport name a reality.
