New Cafe Opening in Belgrade

It looks like you'll have more choices for breakfast in Belgrade with a new place called Duke's Cafe & Bakery. The cozy coffee house setting will offer breakfast, lunch items, and retail space featured throughout the restaurant.

Duke's plans to open in January in the former Carr's Posie Patch/Ascension Gym location. You may have noticed the nice vintage truck out front right off Broadway. The new cafe will feature:

Baked goods like muffins, scones, cookies, ect.
Coffee
Loose-leaf tea
Cinnamon rolls
Fresh bread
Egg bites
Egg sandwiches
Toast bar
Soup & salad
Sandwiches

The coffee shop located at 220 S. Broadway in Belgrade and will be open seven days a week Monday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cafe initially expects to open their drive-through and then have open indoor space for dining in the near future.

Duke's is actually named after the owner, Duke Johnson, who was raised in the valley. When asking Duke what her (yes, Duke is a woman) favorite thing on the menu is she said "Oooo that's a tricky one. . . I love eggs!" She also mentioned that in opening this new cafe she hopes to fill a hole in the market and aims to support the local community.

They will also be offering wall space at their location as a gallery for local craftsmen, artists, and creators to rent. Display opportunities can be anything from a wall, a case, a table, or a booth.
