Sometimes bars open with a bang, and sometimes quietly open their doors. This one is the latter.

Over the past few months, several bars and restaurants have closed their doors for many reasons. Many of these bars were popular with younger adults, and it's heartbreaking that they've shut down.

Locals have been wondering what could replace any of these businesses, and now we have one of those answers. The exciting part is that this new opening is an unlikely place.

The Grey Dog Bar is officially open in Downtown Bozeman, but it's not in any of the bars or restaurants that have recently closed. The Grey Dog Bar is located on North Bozeman Avenue and is in the old Pakeezah spot.

The location might seem strange because it's on a side street, but this space is a good size and could host quite a large crowd. This space has been empty for over a year since Pakeezah moved to a new location.

Pakeezah is now across the street from Shine Beer Sanctuary, where 14 North was located.

The weird part about The Grey Dog Bar is we can't find any information about this new business. The Grey Dog Bar doesn't have a website or Facebook page. We found an Instagram account, and that gave us little info.

It seems the Grey Dog Bar has been only open for a little over two weeks and has been host to live shows.

The only problem is we don't know the hours or days they are open. Hopefully, we can get more info as they continue to debut to the Bozeman public. We wish them the best of luck and can't wait to check it out for ourselves.
