Gallatin County has not recorded a new case of the coronavirus since May 8th, according to the Gallatin City-County Health Department. That keeps us sitting on 149 cases where we've been for nearly three weeks. Overall, the county has recorded only 11 cases in the past seven weeks with restaurants, bars, and gyms now all open again.

Currently, there are zero active cases in Gallatin County and only 20 active cases in the entire state of Montana with two hospitalizations. It was reported that a Yellowstone County women died this past Monday on Memorial Day. The woman was in her 80s and is the third COVID-19 related death in Yellowstone County and the 17th death in Montana.

We suffered our only death in Gallatin County from the virus back on April 27th.

Our peak, so far, with the coronavirus was reached back on March 26 when 15 cases of COVID-19 were reported here in the county.
