I love pizza; it's not only my favorite food, but it might be the perfect food. Depending on the type of pizza you order, you can darn near make sure that all of the food groups are represented. If you were to ask me what my favorite pizza was, I would ask you which category we're talking about.

Yep, I put pizza into categories.

There is the specialty pizza category, the chain pizza category, the local pizza category, and finally, there is my favorite....the pepperoni pizza category. I can't think of anything better than a big ole slice of pepperoni pizza. The cheese, the meat, the crust, and a little grease are an absolute culinary delight.

I've been a pepperoni pizza fan since childhood, and I've come up with a list of what I believe to be the top 5 best pepperoni pizzas in Bozeman.

Red Tractor Pizza

Red Tractor's pepperoni pizza is legit. In fact, I'm a big fan of their lunch deal, which includes two slices and a drink. Their pizza is perfect if you're one of those folks that like to fold your pizza while you eat it.

Sidewall Pizza

Sidewall does a fantastic job of taking pepperoni pizza and adding just a bit of flair to it with the brushing of the butter sauce that they use. Sidewall offers a few options of crust, including gluten-free, and their Little Pepperoni is delicious.

Cosmic Pizza

This is without a doubt some of the best pepperoni pizza that I've ever had. It's covered in the perfect amount of cheese and is absolutely loaded with pepperoni. Plus, as an added bonus, it's fantastic hot or cold.

Bridger Brewing

Not only is Bridger Brewing right across from MSU, but they're also home to the bison pepperoni pizza, and let me just say, if you haven't tried it, you need to. I mean, what could be more Montana than bison pepperoni, right?

Costco

I know a few of you are probably rolling your eyes right now, but for just under 10 bucks for a pepperoni pizza, it might be the best deal in town. The pizza is huge and takes me a couple of days to eat, plus it's right by my house, so that's a massive bonus.
