The nice part about living in Montana is we are big on history. In every city or town, you can see buildings or signs that have stood the test of time for hundreds of years. These buildings hold our old traditions and history.

When it comes to these buildings, some of them can be weird or very unusual. So what's the weirdest building in the state of Montana? It's an odd choice.

Why was the Montana State Capitol Building picked? Popular Mechanics points out that the impressive rotunda showcases four statues of the people who helped contribute to the creation of Montana. The statues consist of a cowboy, gold miner, explorer, and Native American.

Should the Montana State Capitol Building be considered the most unusual or weirdest building in Montana? No. It's an impressive building with a lot of history of our state. Plus, it sits prominently on the hill, looking down towards Helena. It's an incredible building.
