Whether you live in the Gallatin Valley or Western Montana, there are some fantastic resorts and areas to check out. Montana has ski areas and resorts that are great for low-level skiers or snowboarders, or if you need some black diamond runs, there are a few places we could recommend for the daredevils.

We wanted to make a comprehensive list of every ski area you could check out in Montana. Many of these ski areas are locally owned and operated. Each of these mountains has a personality and people who will make you feel at home.
