All the buzz last week was that former President Trump might be arrested, in fact, even the former President predicted it would happen, and in the end, it was much to do about nothing. That, however, didn't stop us from creating a poll to see what Montanans thought.

We wanted to know if Montanans thought the former U.S. President should be arrested.

Now keep in mind in both the 2016 and 2020 elections the state of Montana voted for Trump and many consider Montana a conservative or "Red" state, so the idea that the majority would suggest that the former President be arrested is absurd, right?  Well...

Hundreds of Montanans voted in the poll and to be honest, the results were a bit shocking. The question was a simple one, "should President Trump be arrested?" there were three options.  Yes, No, and I Don't Care.

In the end, the results showed that just over 55 percent of those that voted did believe that the former President should be arrested, with just over 42 percent saying no, and just over 2 percent saying that they didn't care.

What was just as interesting as the results of the poll, were the comments that people made about the former President as well as the current one. It will come as no surprise that Montanans have their own opinions and are pretty dug in on them. Here are a few of the comments below:

"It’s a sad time in our country, but if you’ve violated the law and are found guilty by a grand jury, you pay the price. Justice for all means ALL."

"No, but I would like to see the Bidens arrested."

"I can’t wait to see him in handcuffs!"

"If anyone deserves to be arrested it's the Biden crime syndicate. Joe's whole family has become rich from selling office access to foreign governments."

"No, we want him to be the next President."

"Wow! quite a few "View" watchers in our state. No, he should not be arrested by an affirmative action George Soros backed DA."

"Yes! Yes, we do! The Teflon Don has gotten away with too much for too long. Same laws that apply to me apply to him."

"No! He’s for America and LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS! He will be in the White House in 2024."

As you can see, when it comes to the polarizing politician, opinions here in Montana are much like they are in the rest of the country. It seems people either love him or hate him.  Either way, it doesn't seem like he is going away anytime soon.
