Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth almost had their private wedding photos shared to the public because of Liam's brother, Chris Hemsworth.

Miley and Liam married in December of 2018 in an intimate ceremony at their Nashville home with only their select loved ones in attendance. They have only shared a handful of images from the wedding on their social media, and they reportedly asked their guests not to share images online or with other people. As it turns out, Chris nearly messed up their plans for privacy.

"I have this old film camera and I get them developed. I'm a regular at this spot and I have [been] for years," Chris told British talk show This Morning while promoting his new film, Avengers: Endgame. "I was at the wedding and I was one of the few people who was taking photos and they said, 'Oh where are you going to get them developed?' I said, 'Oh it's fine. I got this little spot and it's all good.'"

The only problem? The photo shop sent a link to the 200+ photos to the wrong email address. The recipient was a girl named Elvira Nordstrom, who documented her confusion on her Instagram stories when the mishap took place in February.

"Can I go to jail for having these? Or wtf is happening? Is this a sick joke? Can I post them?" she wrote in her Instagram stories before tagging Chris and asking him what to do.

He eventually replied to Nordstrom, telling the show that she "couldn't have been kinder." He recalls, "[She] said, 'Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything with them. They're safe. It was a big relief. There are a lot of different ways that could've gone."

Phew. Crisis averted!
