While visions of sugarplums may have danced in your head yesterday, Miley Cyrus and her famous family spent Christmas (Monday, December 25) getting down to a much different beat.

On Instagram, Miley shared a video of the Cyrus ladies (mom Tish and sisters Brandi and Noah) standing in a circle and performing a choreographed dance routine to NSYNC's upbeat 1998 holiday song, "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" — all while dad Billy Ray watched from beneath a blanket in the background.

"The tree ain't the only thing getting lit this year," Miley wrote in the video's fitting caption. Watch the cute family moment, below:

NSYNC, meanwhile, seemed to approve of the dance: On Twitter, Joey Fatone quipped, "Nice song!"

Later, the pop star shared a photo of her immediate family (including former Metro Station singer Trace) gathered near the Christmas tree.

Miley's Australian beau, actor Liam Hemsworth, was noticeably absent from the festivities. (Maybe he spent the holiday with his family Down Under?)

Released on November 29 1998 off the band's Home for Christmas album, "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" charted at No. 37 on the Top 40 Mainstream chart.

The song was covered by Pentatonix for their 2016 Christmas album, A Pentatonix Christmas.
