California is literally between a drought and a fire and it's not getting any better. That means sometimes you have to get creative.

Los Angeles officials dumped 96 million black balls also known as "shade balls" to prevent sunlight to evaporate more water than what it already has. This whole process is said to save over 150 million gallons of water. That's crazy.
