It can be even tough for folks with disabilities who want to visit these parks. They already have to use funds for medicine and equipment to get around, so experiencing parks could be out of their budget.

That is until now.

America The Beautiful Access Pass

Unofficial Networks reports the federal government wants to help those with disabilities enjoy our parks.

The America the Beautiful Access Pass gives folks with disabilities free access to all national parks and federal recreation lands.

This pass gives access to over 2,000 areas controlled by six different federal agencies.

The pass owner and whoever is traveling with them can access parks and lands controlled by these federal agencies.

How Do You Get The Pass?

All you have to do is apply online or through the mail.

If you have a medically confirmed disability that affects your daily life, you can apply for this pass.
