LaHood Park Steakhouse
Montana's oldest steakhouse sits in the quiet town of Cardwell, and it's worth the trip.
The Lahood Park Steakhouse might seem out of the way, but they are an institution in Montana.
The Lahood Park Steakhouse opened in 1928 and was a stopping point for travelers between Butte and Madison County.
The restaurant caught fire a few years ago, but the owner reopened last year after a massive remodel.
My friends and I have always wanted to experience this steakhouse, and if you are wondering if it's worth the trip, you better believe it.
My friends and I sat on the tavern side of the restaurant and didn't know what to expect.
The menu has many items every meat lover would want to enjoy on a night out.
From pork belly to prime rib to the different cuts of steak to the toppings you can add was exceptional.
LaHood also had several incredible desserts that would make anyone with a sweet tooth go into a craze(we highly recommend the Eggnog Bourbon Creme Brule).
Sure, the restaurant might be in Cardwell, but if you want to enjoy a wonderful meal with that special someone or the people in your life who matter the most, LaHood Park is perfect for that occasion.
