Kris Jenner Insists Kanye West Has ‘Really Good Intentions’
Paging Kris Jenner: It's time for damage control!
The Kardashian family matriarch and momager sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an episode of Ellen set to air Friday (May 4), where she opened up about her son-in-law Kanye West's recent erratic behavior.
In a preview of the episode, DeGeneres asks Jenner about the rapper's current string of controversies, and whether or not he's "okay."
"You know, Kanye has a lot of love for all of you, all of his fans, and everybody who’s been there to support him forever. I know that he will explain himself in his own way," Jenner said.
"And, I think that anything he does – and I just think this is important to say is – he always does things with really good intentions," she continued, adding that she's going to "let him explain himself when the time is ready."
Meanwhile, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras have been rolling, despite recent events, which means Season 16 of the hit E! reality show may feature some insights into West's antics.
West, who's married to and has three children with Jenner's daughter Kim Kardashian, made headlines in April when he returned to Twitter after being absent from the social media platform for months.
In a span of weeks, the musician aligned himself with Donald Trump, admitted to previously suffering from an opioid addiction, and called slavery "a choice" during an explosive interview with TMZ.
