Just a couple weeks after reports that Kendrick Lamar wasn't planning on dropping an album any time soon, it looks like we might have gotten our first indicator of when his DAMN. will be released. Let's just say "soon" might have been a relative term, as it appears K. Dot's latest could drop next year.

In a now-deleted Instagram post from Polydor Records, which is an Interscope-affiliated record label that's responsible for distributing Interscope's releases in Europe, we see a list of artists supposed to drop albums next year. Among the names are Black Eyed Peas, ScHoolboy Q, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and, of course, K. Dot himself. If you didn't know, Kendrick is signed to Interscope, along with Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath. Pop Crave noted the post earlier today (Dec. 25).

While there's nothing else pointing to an incoming album release from K. Dot, it was really never a stretch for the Compton artist to drop off a new LP for 2K19. After all, by next April, it will have been two years since the rapper dropped off his critically acclaimed DAMN. album. Basically, it's getting to that time.

On the ScHoolboy end of things, the 2019 release date would also make some sense. He was expected to drop an LP this year, but he said the death of his friend Mac Miller had left him in a bad space for finishing up the project.

There is no word on anything else about when this new LP will actually drop, but here's to hoping this screenshot points toward the album actually coming out next year.
