Do Montanans Want This Popular National Coffee Chain?
Montana is full of people that rely on a good cup of coffee to get their day started. Many Montanans work long days at physical jobs, and need a caffeine boost. There's a popular coffee chain that has locations in almost every state surrounding Montana, but does it have plans to open up shop in Big Sky Country?
Supporting local businesses is important to many Montana residents, and therefore, many national franchises are frowned upon in the state. In places like Bozeman and Missoula, which continue to grow at a rapid pace, national chains are much more common.
If you're looking for a national coffee chain, you might be able to find a Starbucks in some cities, and there is a Black Rifle Coffee Company in Kalispell. Other than that, your options are limited. If you're looking for a local option, Ghost Town Coffee Roasters and Florence Coffee Company are popular among Montana residents.

Currently, there aren't any Dutch Bros locations in Montana, but there are locations in Idaho, Washington, Utah, and Colorado. We reached out and spoke to a Dutch Bros representative and asked if the company has plans to expand in Montana.

Surprisingly, the person that we spoke to was located in Great Falls. Apparently, customer service representatives that work for the Dutch Bros work remotely all over the country. Here's what we found out. As of right now, the company doesn't have plans to open any locations in Montana, but with enough support, it could happen.
When we asked if someone could possibly open a franchise, we were informed that all Dutch Bros locations are company owned.
