Plaza Azteca is located in Bozeman's Cannery District in a space formerly occupied by La Esquina, a Mexican restaurant that closed its doors in 2024.

I recently stopped in for lunch and ordered the Baja Fish Tacos. The fish was lightly battered and perfectly crispy. They came with a side of rice and beans, and a bag of fresh tortilla chips. I will definitely be going back. If you love tacos, you need to check it out for yourself.

Inside, the décor is a vibrant fusion of rustic charm and modern design. Think rich red leather booths, warm wood beams, lush greenery, and stylish honeycomb partitions that lend privacy without closing off the space. A standout feature is the dramatic bar area, where rows of top-shelf tequilas and mezcals are backlit and proudly on display.
