
Heat Wave: Northern Idaho Could Hit 100 Degrees
Summer heat is settling into Northern Idaho and is heading to Montana. Heat Advisories have been issued for several counties as temperatures to hit 100 degrees or more.
The Idaho panhandle is getting HOT on Monday and Tuesday. The list of areas and passes that are experiencing a Heat Advisory is quite long, and they are all listed below.
As weather works, we shouldn't be surprised if a few Heat Advisories head into Montana in the coming days, FYI.

- PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

It signifies that the heat index, which combines temperature and humidity, will be at or above 100°F (38°C) for 24 hours or more, or that heat index values in the 95° to 99°F range are expected for four or more days." (National Weather Service)
