Sometimes I think people forget that the town of Big Sky is actually in Montana.

Don't get me wrong, we know it's here, but I think a lot of locals feel it's one of those places that's in Montana but isn't necessarily for Montanans. Don't get me wrong, it's a very charming place, with lots to do and see. I mean, you have all kinds of events that happen throughout the year, plus there is 5-Star lodging, excellent restaurants, and some of the best skiing in the world.

It's just a bit pricey and out of most Montanans' budgets.

Just recently, they had a special ribbon-cutting for The One And Only Resort in Moon Basin that just opened. In case you're curious, The One And Only ain't cheap. Taking a look at their website, the cost depends on your date will determine how much you pay, but it looks like an average night stay will be a little over 1500 bucks. However, once we get into the heart of ski season, well, that price goes up.
