One of the greatest things I've learned is that you can vote for someone and not always agree with them. People are allowed to have different opinions, it's the beauty of our country.

Trump’s Montana Rally: A Recap

I bring this up because our President, Donald Trump, recently made another visit to Montana, and said some things that have caused folks on both sides to raise an eyebrow or two.

Trump was back in Big Sky Country to encourage Montanans to vote for a certain candidate for Congress.

Like most of his rally's, he had the crowd eating out of his hand, and in true Trump fashion, made statements off the cuff.

One of those statements regarded Montana as place for weapons testing.

Now, this is where it gets interesting.

The Proposed 'Super Range': What We Know

Trump announced plans for a new Department of Defense "Super Range" for weapons testing, including weapons that can be used in space, along with hypersonic technologies. He also said that both U.S. Montana Senators have been aggressive in requesting this.

Hmmm.

Concerns Over Location: Where Would It Go?

So, this is the part that I find interesting. For many, including a far number of Conservatives, Montana is full. So, how would one justify building a "Super Range" for weapons testing? Oh, and where would that go?

Here is another question, would you want to live hear a super range? Would you want your family or friends to live near it?

According to reports, no site has been determined at this time, but one would have to think you would need a massive area for such an undertaking, so farm land? Ranch land?

Once again, we don't know, but I would think it would be safe to assume, that wherever it lands, it will be far from where the folks pushing for it live.
