DSTGaming took a look to see where states rank when it comes to the most billionaires per capita, and Montana is ranked near the top.
It's no surprise that the number one state is New York; however, what is a surprise is the number 2 spot. Coming in 2nd for the state with the most billionaires per capita is...Wyoming. Yep, the Cowboy State.
You're probably thinking, well, how many billionaires live in Wyoming? According to the data, only 2, but when you factor in their low population, that's good enough for 2nd place.
So, where does Montana rank on the list?
Montana made the Top 10, coming in 8th. Big Sky Country came in right after Maine and right before Connecticut. According to the information, Montana has 2 billionaires that call the Treasure State home, and while that might be true when it comes to full-time residents, there are multiple billionaires that either have a house, land, or both.
