I was checking out social media videos and a pair of travelers who spend their time going around the United States came out with their list of the 5 Best State Parks in the country and it just so happens that one of those is right here in Montana.

Which Montana State Park is ranked in the Top 5 in the Country?

According to TikTok's Matt and Karen Smith who post travel videos to social media, one of the best State Parks in the country is Lewis and Clark Caveran State Park here in Montana. The State Park is located near Whitehall and the park is open throughout the year with tours of the caverns available from May through September.

Established back in 1935 it is a sight to see, however, it should be noted that some folks might have difficulty navigating the 2-mile trail. There are several stairs and the surface is often wet and slippery. If you're wondering what to wear on your tour of the caverns a good pair of hiking shoes is recommended and you might want to bring a light jacket as the average temperature in the caverns is 50 degrees.

There is a shorter tour that is called the Paradise Tour and it's one mile in length and lasts about an hour.
