If you’re heading downtown in Bozeman, here’s a big reminder: from 4–6 PM there will be road closures to keep trick-or-treaters safe. Due to the massive popularity of the event, the City of Bozeman is closing Main Street from Grand to Church between 3 and 7 PM. No parking will be allowed in that section, and any vehicles left there will need to stay put until after the event.
Police, fire, and city officials are all teaming up to make sure everyone stays safe. They recommend adding reflective tape or glow sticks to costumes and treat bags to help kids stay visible. Trick-or-treaters should stick to sidewalks and crosswalks, keep their heads up (no texting mid-trick-or-treat), and make eye contact with drivers before crossing the street.

For drivers, remember to slow down in neighborhoods and keep distractions to a minimum. No scrolling, snacking, or costume admiring while driving. So go have fun, collect the candy haul, and make some memories. Just keep an eye out, stay visible, and let’s make sure this Halloween is a fun and safe one!
