Bozeman Firefighters Extinguish Blaze At Main Street Restaurant

You've no doubt heard the phrase "where there is smoke, there's fire". That certainly was the case at a popular building in Bozeman.

A structure fire on Main Street in downtown Bozeman caused a lot of stir online and in person yesterday, as folks were wondering why the popular street was closed and what building was on fire. Turns out, there was a fire at 29 E Main Street which if you Google, comes up as the restaurant Plonk.

According to a press release from the Bozeman Fire Department they were contacted at 4:22 yesterday, September 10th. Upon arrival, they noticed that a small fire had spread from the oven to the chimney. The crew went into action, and the fire was put out relatively quickly. However, the crew remained to make sure that the fire hadn't spread to other spaces in the building.

What was the cost of the damage in the Downtown Bozeman Fire?

As of this writing, there is no estimate on the cost of the damage to the building. However, there is no doubt that the quick action of the Fire Department was a factor at keeping the damage to a minimum.
