Yet, perception sometimes isn't reality, and a recent survey that was released says my perception of Montana might not match reality.

30 years ago, I don't think anyone would have claimed that any town in Montana was snobby, let alone the entire state.
Today, Montana is a very different place to live, and some of those changes have ruffled more than a few feathers.
Places like Bozeman, Whitefish, and Kalispell are no longer recognizable to longtime residents, and plenty will tell you they've become quite snobby.
Is Montana Becoming Too Snobby?
So how do you determine if a state is snobby? To be honest, it's all very tongue-in-cheek what Zippia has done.
They took a look at how many residents held bachelor's degrees or how many Ivy League schools are in the state as an example.
I was actually shocked at the ranking Montana got, but it got me wondering.
With all the changes we've seen in the past decade or so, will we see Montana continue to climb the rankings and become more snobby, or have we reached a breaking point in the changing culture in our state?
