Have You Seen A Montana Driver Make This Stupid Move?
I can't be the only person who has seen someone make this move on the roads in Montana. It's bewildering.
Driving in Montana isn't that difficult, yet we have seen some weird driving habits from locals and tourists. During Montana's winter season, some people won't use their blinkers or brush off the snow. In the summertime, we have folks who don't have common courtesy and pull over their vehicle if they are driving under the speed limit or parked on the road to take pictures of wildlife.
One thing that many problems have within many of Montana's cities is roundabouts.
Yes, the intersections that are free-flowing and easy to navigate have been an issue for many locals. Some don't know if they can go or wait, but it's a minor inconvenience for most.
Then some locals decide to be idiots.
Over the past few months, I have seen several Montanans in large trucks decide to ignore the roundabout and drive straight over it. I'm not joking. I saw it happen yesterday at the roundabout next to Bozeman High School.
The first time I saw it happen was at night when I was driving home from work, and as I was going through the roundabout, the truck behind me drove over the center and almost hit me. I was scared because his headlights were about three feet from my face. I regained my composure, yelled several unenthusiastic words at the other driver, and went on my way.
I can't be the only one who has seen people driving over roundabouts in the Bozeman area. This is highly dangerous and could get someone seriously hurt. Plus, this will only ruin your car's suspension.
Please be smart and use the roundabouts the way they are designed.
