You’re Not Crazy, Riz Ahmed Is in ‘Girls’ Season 6 Too

The first few trailers for Girls’ sixth and final season have shown off a few notable cameos, but not necessarily any of the ones we’d heard previously. Well, apparently we can throw Rogue One and The Night Of and The OA star Riz Ahmed on that list as well, as revealed in a new photo.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the prolific Ahmed’s place within the Season 6 cast, playing “a surf instructor that Hannah (Lena Dunham) meets in the season premiere.” As you can see in the photo below, the pair appear reasonably close for an instructor/instructed relationship:

Co-craetor Jenni Konner’s description … could be read in a few different ways:

Riz is incredible. He’s obviously playing a very different kind of character than The Night Of or Rogue One — a full-on surfer dude who pontificates about the water! He dips in and out of Hannah’s life in an important way.

Additionally guest starring in Season 6 are Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Perretti, The Americans spy Matthew Rhys, as well as Joy Bryant, while Season 5 stars Aidy Bryant and Corey Stoll will return.
