If you plan of voting in Montana's Primary Election, your ballot must arrive at the elections office by 8:00 p.m. on election day, Tuesday, June 2.

If you have not sent your ballot via mail yet, it most likely will not get there on time.

Luckily, you have another option. Voters can drop off ballots at the local elections office or at an official drop off site.

Belgrade

Churchill

Gallatin Gateway

Three Forks

To qualify to vote in Montana, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old on or before the next election
  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Have resided in the county for at least 30 days
  • Not be incarcerated in a penal institution
  • Not be adjudicated by a court of law to be of unsound mind
