Former MSU Basketball Player Makes History in the NBA
The first one to achieve this and hopefully we will see more make it to this level in the near future.
406 MT SportsThis happened this past Wednesday, December 23rd, when he came into a game in the fourth quarter for the Portland Trailblazers against the Utah Jazz. He even took a few shots but sadly didn't make any.
Blevins has a two way contract with the Portland Trailblazers, that means he can appear up to fifty games with the Portland Trailblazers and still play with their G-League affiliate so he's just not sitting on the bench the whole season.
Blevins was a transfer from Southern Mississippi and the two years he played at Montana State University he was a crowd favorite for his scrappy play and big dunks. Hopefully he will continue to get his chance to prove himself in the NBA and get more opportunities.
Plus, this is great for the future of Montana State basketball. If one player can make it to the NBA that means more can follow suit and that will only help build Montana State's basketball program.
Congrats Keljin! Keep up the great work.
